The privat person and his background

Jørgen Larsen is a Danish guy living it up with his small family in Vanløse a town 7 km from the heart of Copenhagen. The family consists of his girlfriend Sannie and their son William (born 23/7/2005). Mr. Larsen was born 12/12/1973 and raised in the northern part of Jutland by his mother Gunhild. Jørgen got two older brothers named Henning and Mogens.

Jørgen Larsen has been playing, dreaming, doing and thinking software development since he was a very young teenager - the days when the smallest graphic block was a quarter of a character.

When he was a student at the computer science department at Aalborg University his handle was DaPP. This later became his nickname and it still pokes up now and then. He has never revealed the meaning behind DaPP - this moment when writing this text in 3rd person he is pondering how much selling the secret on ebay will do to his personal cash flow.

Music and lyrics are the cornerstones were he build his believes and dreams. He digs Del Amitri, Van Morrison, Elvis Costello, Tom Waits, Bob Dylan, Eels, Public Enemy and 1000 other bands. The music flows in a well equipped music room in his basement.

Since Mr. Larsen is passionate photographer he is often seen with a Nikon D200 and a couple of lenses. The large photo equipment supports his fetish with backpacks very well. His photo showcase is located at porcupine-photo.com.
